The DPS is a professional medical association integrating more than 700 Member Psychiatrists. It was established in 1994 as a registered society of mental health professionals. The Society has been actively involved in the promotion and advocacy of Mental Health issues, advancement and research in the field of psychiatry along with focused work on community welfare and awareness activities.
